INTRODUCTION:
Overflow Ball Mill Introduction
The structure of overflow type ball mill is basic same as the grate ball mill, just there is no grid plate in the discharge end of the cylinder body lining. And it has anti spiral blade in the interior of the hollow shaft bushing. It can block the ball and coarse ore pulp overflow. The grinding product of overflow type ball mill is through row ore hollow shaft neck free overflow.
Overflow Ball Mill Application
The overflow type ball mill with features simple structure, convenient management and maintenance and low price, when using for fine grinding, it is better than grid type, so there are also many plant to use it.
When you need to grind to 0.208-0.295 mm (48-65 mesh) of uniform coarse product, the grate ball mill is better; When need to grind to 0.074-0.104 mm (150-200 mesh) of fine products, appropriate is used the overflow type ball mill; When two grinding are required, the first paragraph with grate, the second paragraph with the overflow type; When need to rough concentrate mill, it better use the overflow type ball mill.
Overflow Ball Mill Working Principle
The electro motor drives the cylinder to rotate through the reduction gears and the peripheral rack wheel reducer transmission, or the low speed synchronous motor directly drives the cylinder to rotate through the peripheral rack wheel reducer transmission. Inside the cylinder, there are proper ore grinding media-steel rod. Under the eccentric force and frictional force, the ore grinding media are lifted to a certain height and fall down in the state of dropping. The materials to be ground continuously go into the cylinder from the ore feeding mouth and are crushed by the moving grinding media, and then are discharged by the overflow and the force of continuous feeding to go to the next procedure.
